ANC was founded to provide management improvement and specialized analytical services to customers and organizations that wish to improve their operational efficiency and to better understand their customers and how to more effectively embrace them.  Additionally, we assist non-Native organizations to better understand Native organizations and vice versa. 

We provide quality service to our customers by tailoring our service to the needs of that customer.  In doing so, we keep our overhead to a minimum and pass those savings on to our customers. 

We assemble a project team for each project we accept.  The project team is unique to the issues and problems to be identified and solved.  We draw from a pool of academics, professional managers, fellow consultants, and practitioners with special skills needed to fully address the issue.  We identify the issue, analyze the actions to be taken, assemble the team, conduct the work, and disband.  This approach eliminates the need for administrative overhead and paying for staff downtime between projects.  We also have the ability to seek out the very best authorities on the subject matter involved in the project.


ANC has assisted organizations in the federal government, state government, tribal government, not for profit sector and for profit sectors over the past twelve years.  Our preference is not to have a long client list but rather a short client list with an ample abundance of repeat business from our clients.  That being said, it is our mission, to not only meet our customer’s expectations; but rather, we strive to delight our customers.  We take great pride in our ability to meet this standard regularly.  It is a high standard, but it is essential, in our eyes, that we provide quality services at a reasonable price. 

We firmly believe that it is the responsibility and duty of a consultant to not create a dependency on the consultant by the customer.  Many times consultants “score” a contract and subsequently create a dependency on the consultant by manipulating the customer in believing that the consultant is the sole source of information or assistance for that issue.  We believe that there is always someone bigger, faster, smarter, and better than we are.  It is our responsibility to provide a “complete” product to the customer.  A complete product that can stand-alone.  A complete product that can be built upon by anyone the customer chooses; be it another consultant or internally by the customer themselves. 

Finally, we feel it is our duty to transfer knowledge to the customer.  As such we have a responsibility to transfer knowledge about the project to the staff of the customer so that when we leave, the customer can proceed without the need to bring back another firm to complete, add to, or interpret the final results.  We pride ourselves on our short customer list.  We also take great pride in the fact that our customers bring us back again and again to do a wide array of projects for them.
